Today's the Kind of Day...

Today was kind of spring day when it's all blue skies and beautiful---clear, sunny, and mild enough to have my sunroof open. Today was the kind of day where on my way to work I turned up Dave Matthews really loud with my sunroof open and it was way too tempting once I got to work, to just keep on driving. Actually, work today wasn't bad. It's funny, I worked a regular day with a shorter lunch and it seemed like it went by even faster than a normal day. Work's never too bad when you can leave your business clothes hanging in your closet and throw on a pair of jeans.

Who Ordered All The Snow?

If I could find the person who ordered all the snow, I would drag them out on their front lawn and beat them with a snow shovel. I could have cried on Sunday when I looked out our window and saw about a foot and a half of snow. I think my dad actually may have cried. All the poor birds looked so confused, like "Why the hell did I come back for this crap?"

One good thing about all this snow is that it made for what was perhaps the most serene grocery shopping experience of my entire life. I think Mike and I may have been the only shoppers at Wegmans on Sunday evening. Usually I hate grocery shopping, but we were able to do our big monthly grocery buy in under 35 minutes, which may be a record for us.
