Holiday Post-Wrap
I hope everyone had a great time over the holidays. I spent the end of December too busy eating Christmas cookies to post anything on this blog. The only dark spot of the holiday season is that I think my husband may now be officially addicted to X-Box and that I may need to have an intervention. Actually, I understand the draw, and so would anyone else who played Need for Speed: Underground 2 for more than five minutes. It qualifies as pretty bad-ass.
We also saw some good movies in the past few weeks, those being Garden State and Sideways. Both are fantastic and come recommended with two opposable monkey thumbs up! I have to start getting serious about my movie watching again since it's almost Oscar-pick time. On Oscar night, my family traditionally gets together and has a betting pool on who the winners will be in every category from Best Film to Best Adapted Screenplay and I intend to win it fully this year and not have to split the pot.
The best post-holiday news is that one of best friends, Diana, the Evil Twin, is in town from Arizona for a week to visit because why? BECAUSE EAST COASTERS ROLL HARD!
